Fernanda Cornejo (28), the eldest daughter of Karen Doggenweiler, was one of the guests at We can talkwhere he revealed a complex surgery that he had to undergo at the age of 19.

It happens that at the age of 10, she was diagnosed with idiopathic scoliosiswhich is the lateral curve of the spine. “I had a major malformation and I got a very big hump,” he said in the program.

This type of scoliosis is usually treated with physical therapy and orthoses, although sometimes it requires surgery, as was the case with Fernanda. “We were kicking off the operation, I was at school and I had some choking spells, some seizures where I couldn’t breathe, because when the vertebrae move, the ribs move.”he explained.

“They did an MRI and saw that I was on the verge of puncturing a lung.and I had the operation when I was 19,” he added.

Recovery was not easy at all. “I couldn’t even get past a bull’s shoulder in a car,” she said. “I have four titanium prostheses and around 68 bolts in my back. I’m like Thalía, I have four fewer ribs. “In some airports there (in Argentina, where she currently lives) I dream (in the metal detectors),” she said.

“I’m fine now, I’m used to living with a heavy backpack,” he concluded.
