SEN situation for June 9, 2024.

Yesterday the service was affected due to a capacity deficit from 07:06 in the morning, with the impact concentrated in the central eastern area due to high transfers, the service was restored at 03:20 in the morning today. The maximum impact on the day was 661 MW at 8:10 p.m., not coinciding with peak hour.

The availability of the SEN at 07:00 hours is 2050 MW, the demand is 2203 MW with 230 MW affected by generation deficit, a maximum impact of 500 MW is estimated for midday, mainly in the central eastern zone due to high transfers. .

Unit 6 of the Nuevitas CTE, unit 6 of the Rente CTE and units 1 and 2 of the Felton CTE are in breakdown. Unit 1 of the CTE Santa Cruz, unit 5 of the CTE Nuevitas and unit 5 of the CTE Rente are under maintenance. The limitations on thermal generation are 288 MW. 44 distributed generation plants are out of service due to fuel, for a total of 185 MW affected by this concept.

For the peak, the input of Distributed Generation engines that are out of fuel is estimated to be 40 MW and the input of unit 1 of the CTE Felton with 240 MW, the input of 8 motors from the Patana de Melones and the unit 6 of the CTE Antonio Maceo (Renté)

With this forecast, an availability of 2,543 MW and a maximum demand of 2,850 MW are estimated for peak hour, for a deficit of 319 MW, so if the forecast conditions continue, an impact of 390 MW is forecast during this time.
