The Deliberative Council accepted the resignation of Councilor Molina Gómez

Guillermo Benzo, PJ councilor, explained that after an exhaustive analysis of the information collected, the acceptance of the outgoing councilor’s request was ruled.

In relation to the next session, Benzo pointed out: “If it is accepted, the succession procedure begins.” Furthermore, he emphasized: “The final decision rests with the body of the Council.”

The next session, scheduled for this Wednesday, will be relevant, since the opinion that supports Molina Gómez’s resignation will be put to a vote.

Regarding the succession, Benzo stressed that they will be guided by the order established in the list by which they were voted, regardless of the gender of the applicants. This clarification arises due to the confusion generated by the composition of the lists, which alternate between men and women, but the succession is determined according to the position on the list.

“The succession is according to the order established in the list by which the neighbors voted for us… it is according to the number that one occupies, the position that one occupies on the list,” said the mayor.

Uber

Regarding the public hearing to address the Uber issue, Benzo commented: “The call for a public hearing is under evaluation.” And he added: “It is a tool that is not thrown away, it is there.” In this sense, it is likely that on Wednesday the UBER issue will be another point to be discussed in the session.
