The Junta of Andalusia will grant 447,000 euros in aid to promote commercial and artisan associations In cordoba. This was reported by the Commerce service of the Territorial Delegation of Employment, Business and Self-Employment in Córdoba during a meeting with associations of merchants and artisans and to the eight Open Shopping Centers in the province.
The objective of the meeting was to facilitate the application procedure for these entities so that they can benefit from these subsidies as many of them as possible. It should be noted that the budget is 40% more than in the previous edition.
Goals
This call, which is on a competitive basis, aims to improve the competitiveness of the retail and craft sectors. For it, financially supports the development of promotion and revitalization actionsas well as crafts through sector associations.
These aids will allow promoting cooperative relations and improving competitivenessgenerating positive economic, social and urban impacts on the sustainable development of our towns and cities in fundamental areas, especially in rural Córdoba, such as commerce and crafts.

This line of incentives will be added to the call for new subsidies aimed at modernizing and improving the competitiveness of commercial and artisan SMEswhose regulatory bases are currently being prepared, and which will be published in the first half of the year and will focus on promoting the growth, competitiveness and consolidation of SMEs in the sector, as well as supporting their adoption of new technologies.
Aid for commercial and artisan associations
The subsidies are articulated through three lines of action: the first aimed at promoting associations between commercial and artisan companies in general; the second focused on actions to boost commerce both in open commercial spaces and in street markets and supply markets; and the third with support for promotion initiatives in the field of crafts.
The aid granted They will be able to reach 100% of the projects presentedwith amounts that can range between 2,000 and 50,000 euros, depending on the number of members.
They may request them merchant associationswhether under the figure of association, federation, confederation or union of associations, the entities promoting Open Shopping Centers that have the recognition of the Administration of the Government of Andalusia, and the associative entities of artisans.
The supported actions must be carried out in the period between January 1 and December 31, 2024 and the deadline for submitting the application ends next June 13.
