The “Movete por La Rioja” program offers three great benefits with the aim of visiting places and adding experiences in the province.
Benefits
The program proposes a refund of 50% of the purchase in accommodation/tourist package, in points to exchange for more tourist services, 3×2 in accommodations – for three nights and only two are paid – and up to 50% discounts on long-distance tickets distance from the transport companies General Urquiza, Chevallier and Flecha Bus.
Through the website www.movete.larioja.gob.ar you can access the offers and information on the bases and conditions with the current dates presented by the program.
How does the 50% refund of the purchase work?
Accommodation is contracted for a minimum of 2 nights or a tourist package that includes a minimum of 2 nights of lodging.
With the reservation invoice it is uploaded to the website along with the data requested by the form.
The website will analyze the charge, and if it is correct, you will receive an email notifying the number of points credited (half the value of your purchase) to be able to exchange them for different experiences such as gastronomy, excursions, regional and accommodation. The exchange is made on the Movete por La Rioja website using the “redeem your points” button.
Invoices for gastronomy, excursions, regional events, etc. are also charged. To obtain these points, the invoice must be uploaded that reflects the minimum of 2 nights of accommodation as detailed in the bases and conditions on the website.
Important dates
Invoice uploads will take place until June 30, 2024, while points redemption will be open until July 31, 2024.

To access the benefit, you must complete a form at www.movete.larioja.gob.ar. Subsequently, a discount code will be received by email and then presented to the transportation company at the time of purchasing the tickets, physical point of sale (agency), by phone or via Whatsapp.
