The Municipality of Guaymallén will carry out the second auction of 2024. This time 19 vehicles will be put up for auction, including motorcycles and cars housed on the commune’s kidnapping beach. It will be next June 19 and the batch of vehicles includes eight cars and eleven motorcycles.
To verify the condition of the vehicles, there will be two days of exhibition: Friday the 14th, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Saturday the 15th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the municipal kidnapping beach, located in Tirasso and Los Eucaliptos alley, in the district The Willow.
The auction will take place next Wednesday at 10, at the Judicial Auction Office located at San Martín 322 in the City of Mendoza.
The first round of auctions this year took place on May 27, 29 and 31. In those three days, the Municipality of Guaymallén sold 23 motorcycles and 14 cars and 22,955,000 pesos were raised.
In 2023, four were made and a total of 221 vehicles were sold, including motorcycles and cars. In 2022, five editions were made and almost the same number of units were released.
According to current regulations, the commune can auction off vehicles that have been held for a minimum of six months on the kidnapping beach, an organization that was created in 2019 to house vehicles detained by decision of the Road Courts Township.
The Goal attempts They have become a necessity, given that many owners prefer to leave their vehicle lodged in the kidnapping yard rather than pay the corresponding amounts for the penalty.
It is not only necessary to free up space on the beach, but also because of the environmental liability of adding more vehicles to the place.
