Agents of the National Police went this Sunday to the home of an elderly woman in Valencia whom they had tried to rob. When the agents received the call they immediately went to the scene, where they found the elderly woman very upset. After trying to calm her down in every possible way without success, one of the agents noticed a piano in her house and did not hesitate to play it to calm her down.

César, the protagonist of the story, says that “the woman was so nervous that she could hardly stand up,” so he began to play several melodies to try to calm her down. Her piano version of the ‘Amelie’ soundtrack managed to captivate the woman and make her forget that bad drink for several minutes.

After recovering, the old woman wrote the agent a poem to thank him for his nice gesture and they ended up giving each other a very emotional hug. The video, published on social networks, already has almost 50,000 views and thousands of reactions from users who applaud the great work of the police as well as the power of music, so necessary in our daily lives.

«Bravo for our colleagues who, thanks to music, calmed this woman who had just suffered an attempted robbery in her home in Valencia. Once recovered, she wrote a poem to the agents, thanking them for their humane and close treatment,” they write from the X account – formerly known as Twitter – of the National Police.
