Atlético Huila culminated its participation in the first semester tournament by beating Tigres with a categorical 4-0 at the Guillermo Plazas Alcid stadium on Monday night.
The scoring was opened early by Sebastián Hernández, who scored in the 5th minute. Santiago Muñoz extended the lead in the 30th minute, and Lucas Farías sealed the win with a double in the second half, scoring in the 52nd and 60th minutes.
Although the team led by Diego Corredor no longer had the chance to advance after being eliminated on the previous date, this victory reinforces its position in the reclassification table, a crucial aspect to compete for a promotion position at the end of the year.

Maruan David, President of Atlético Huila, said last night at a press conference: “I wanted to inform you that we are going to continue with the current coaching staff for the second semester, you have our full support. They achieved 48 points, a performance above 70% and we hope that the majority of players will remain for the second semester.”
Maruan’s message was: «To the fans who accompany us, being in first place throughout the tournament we made promotions for them to accompany us, it is sad and worrying. “We want you to join us in the next semester.”
