A man was captured by neighbors of the San Pedrito neighborhoodin the city of Santiago de Cubaafter allegedly snatching a cell phone to a girl.

A video shared on social networks by journalist Yosmany Mayeta showed the moment in which the individual, with his hands tied, was cornered by some neighbors who spoke with him and ensured that he did not escape.

The minor – whose age has not been revealed – was sitting with her grandparents at the door of her home when the alleged thief snatched the cell phone from her hands and ran away.
