Adrián García, general accountant of the province of La Pampa, was appointed to lead the institution until 2026. In the 71 years of the organization, never before has a Pampa native been in charge of its management.

The Casa de La Pampa in Buenos Aires hosted an important meeting of the board of directors of the Association of General Accountants of the Argentine Republic (ACGRA). The province’s general accountant and president of said institution, Adrián García, were present; the general accountant of the Nation and treasurer of the organization, César Duro; the general accountant of CABA, Griselda Gabelli (protesor) and the general accountant of the province of Buenos Aires and secretary of ACGRA, Carlos Baleztena.

Last April, on the occasion of the Ordinary and Extraordinary Annual Assembly, the Association elected new authorities and formed a new board of directors, which has a mandate until 2026 and was formed as follows:

President: Adrián García

Vice President: Rafael Herrera

Secretary: Carlos Baleztena

Deputy Secretary: Estefanía Avila

Treasurer: César Duro

Treasurer: Griselda Gabelli.

Account Auditor: Norberto Delgado

Substitute Accounts Auditor: Andrés Zabala.

The Pampean representative in the organization, head of the General Accounting Office of the Province, Adrián García, expressed his gratitude to the different provincial and national authorities for the full support of his appointment, as well as the pride that it represents for La Pampa to exercise for the first time the presidency of said institution, which is made up of the highest officials of the General Accounting Offices of the provincial jurisdictions, CABA and the Nation.

“It is a very important meeting space for discussion, exchange of experiences, training, analysis and coordination of public policies related to the functions carried out by the different General Accounting Offices of the federal and central governments of the Argentine Republic, of which La Pampa It has been participating actively and uninterruptedly for several decades now,” the general accountant of La Pampa told the Provincial News Agency.

The Association of General Accountants of the Argentine Republic (ACGRA) aims to promote and carry out studies and research on accounting and public government control at all levels and in the legal, financial, patrimonial and administrative, accounting fields, acting as a center information, teaching and training. At the same time, it acts as a liaison body between the country’s institutions and the different related technical organizations, university entities, professional associations, etc.

The new president concluded that “in addition to an enormous responsibility in directing ACGRA’s destinies until 2026, there is no doubt that this designation will mean a fundamental boost to continue with the different projects that our General Accounting Office has, an organization created by the Accounting Law No. 3 back in 1953, about to turn 71 years old and with constitutional hierarchy as of 1994.”
