Short term mining

To this he added: “We are working on an environmental impact report that includes 18 thousand km2 in the South, with more than 300 mining projects.”

The governor also explained the benefits of settling and living in Mendoza by pointing out that “there is a great connectivity plan at the Mendoza Airport that has, for example, flights to Lima and Santiago de Chile.”

Furthermore, the president pointed out that our province “has very good human resources” and explained that “A good part of the professionals who carry out tasks in San Juan are graduates of Mendoza universities. There is also the quality of life of its inhabitants. In fact, people who explore or work in the mining areas in the neighboring province live in Mendoza.”

Minister Latorre added: “It is very important to highlight the business ecosystem that the province has. Currently there are more than 150 Mendoza companies that provide services in projects in other mining areas, such as in San Juan and Salta.”

As a summary, the governor said: “In summary, there are business opportunities, connectivity, good quality of life and a solvent plan to develop mining projects in Mendoza. With agriculture, viticulture and tourism we cannot sustain the economy. “We need to insert ourselves into the world with sustainable mining.”
