Neuquén present at the Federal Sports Meeting

The meeting was held in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, and was attended by the highest sports authorities from all the provinces and CABA.

The Secretary of Sports and Youth, María Fernanda Villone, participated in the First Federal Sports Meeting that was held in the facilities of the CeNARD (National Center for High Sports Performance), and described the event as positive since it allows the provinces to work together in an annual agenda.

“This was the first management meeting that we held in person and it was very positive because it contributes to all the provinces being able to work together to execute programs and, in parallel, define an annual agenda of activities,” Villone highlighted.

On the occasion, the Secretary of Tourism, Environment and Sports, Daniel Scioli, and the Undersecretary of Sports of the Nation, Julio Garro, formally presented the 2024 work plan while receiving the concerns of the secretaries and undersecretaries of sports from all over the country.

In addition, national sports officials presented the different federal programs planned for this year that include assistance to clubs in construction; support for schools of sports initiation, transition and development of high sports performance, among others.

On this point, the official announced that “in the next 40 days there will be a meeting to make decisions about future national tournaments; There we will be representing the Ministry of Human Development, Local Governments and Women, to continue the work we are carrying out to bring sport closer to every corner of the province.”
