He Chancellor Alberto van Klaveren participated in an international conference in which the situation in Gaza was addressed. In the instance, The authority said that action is required from the international community.

Regarding the current conflict, Van Klaveren pointed out that the government “has asked for full compliance with international law and international humanitarian law.

“We have unequivocally condemned the terrorist actions of Hamas and demand the immediate and unconditional release of the hostages. In addition, We strongly condemn Israel’s indiscriminate and disproportionate attacks on civilians in Gazaespecially women and children,” he added.

Likewise, the head of Foreign Relations participated in the work meeting “Addressing challenges to the delivery of humanitarian aid and the protection of civilians in Gaza”.

During the meeting, it was insisted on call for an immediate ceasefire in Palestinehighlighting the need to ensure the conditions for an effective and safe delivery of humanitarian aid in Gaza.

Likewise, the urgency to end the escalation of human sufferingas well as the unconditional release of people kidnapped by Hamas.
