This June 11, the Arturo Capdevila Library, located in the Cabildo of Córdoba, reopens its doors to the public with an enriched and diverse collection.

On this special occasion, the Deliberative Council will also recognize the Cordoban writers who have been promoters of the historical-romantic novel literary genre. This recognition aims to value the career and drive that these writers have represented for a specific literary genre.

In this framework, the writers will be present: Cristina Bajo, Reyna Carranza, Viviana Rivero, Graciela Ramos, Cristina Loza, Perla Suez, Beatriz Grinberg, Beatriz Ferrari Pellenc.

This cultural space is a gem for lovers of literature and history, as it houses the complete collection of Domingo F. Sarmiento, La Biblioteca de Mayo, encyclopedias, dictionaries and various collections focused on the history of Argentina and Córdoba.

In addition to these treasures, the library also offers a wide selection of Latin American literature with works by renowned authors such as Isabel Allende, Jorge Luis Borges, Julio Cortázar, Gabriel García Márquez, Mario Vargas Llosa, among others. The Córdoba collection is also available, with material on the history of different cities, streets, architecture, historical moments and popular stories of the city.
