Kaltenmeier warned of the risk of expiration of the PJ in Chubut due to lack of renewal of authorities

The electoral secretary of the Federal Court in Rawson warned about the risk of expiration of the Justicialista Party in Chubut due to the lack of renewal of authorities and the irregular modification of the electoral board. He stressed that they must comply with the process called for the month of September, since all deadlines would expire in December.

In an interview on the program “La Última Palabra” hosted by Martín Busi on FM EL CHUBUT, the electoral secretary of the Federal Court in Rawson, Enrique Kaltenmeier, referred to the situation of the Justicialista Party and other issues related to party activity in Chubut .

Regarding the situation of the Justicialista Party, Kaltenmeier explained: “The last thing that we observed, that was publicly known, was that there were a series of party decisions taken without the necessary majorities, with which either it was considered that the mandates of all the entities, all the party organizations, were either all functioning de facto, because there was a party decision to modify the electoral board, which we said that this modification was not appropriate, because either we extended the mandates of all the authorities or the same authorities follow, which was not the case, or all the same de facto authorities follow, that is, the electoral board that was the last one that was formed has to intervene, not the one modified by a body that in principle would not have jurisdiction to do it”.

Regarding the continuity of the party’s judicial and electoral process, he added: “I understand that the party, that is, in that framework, is developing the previous steps of the schedule for the September election. There has been no judicial continuity of these proposals, so I understand that in the same way as the Radical Civic Union, for example, they are developing their internal process and they will inform us of the result of it once they complete it.

Kaltenmeier also mentioned the urgency of the Justicialista Party in renewing its authorities to avoid the expiration of its legal status: “One of the causes of expiration of the party’s legal status is the non-renewal of party authorities, at least every four years. The last time “The Justicialist Party renewed its authority in December 2020, that is, in December of this year, the party would remain in the cause of expiration if it did not resolve the renewal of authorities through this internal election.”
