This June 12 marks the World Day Against Child Labor, which aims to focus global attention on the urgent need to eradicate child labor. For this reason, they carried out an activity in a central hotel, where different authorities from the province and neighboring provinces participated.



In contact with El Independiente Media, Miriam Espinoza, Secretary of Labor of the Province, explained that “this June 12, World Day Against Child Labor, finds us more united than ever, in this Second Federal Labor Meeting, which we are about to begin, where the vice governor, the mayor, the chief of staff and the mayor of the Arauco department will accompany us,” he said.

Likewise, “which speaks clearly of a team from the provincial government, led by our governor Ricardo Quintela, that is in charge of reducing inequalities and working for greater social inclusion, in the face of the continuous attack suffered by the workers of our country and that, that unfortunately, more children in our country are vulnerable to suffering from this scourge.”

In this sense, he indicated that these days are promoted “where the Secretaries of Labor of La Pampa, Santiago del Estero and Buenos Aires will accompany us.”

Finally, “we are proud to be one of the most active Copreti, last year we started some companies against child labor, because we are promoters of tripartite social dialogue, the State, the Ministry of Labor, Copreti, workers and employers. We are convinced that social dialogue is the fundamental and transversal tool to achieve the necessary consensus.”
