Like every year, the Penitentiary Service Expo within the framework of his 91st Anniversary, at the Manuel Belgrano Cultural Center. Present at the opening ceremony were Governor of the province, Carlos Sadir, together with the Minister of Security, Guillermo Corro, who highlighted the extensive program of activities planned to celebrate this important anniversary.
One of the main attractions will be the Penitentiary Exhibition, which will last until 2 p.m.. with the attendance of educational institutions and the general public. This event will offer a unique window to the community to learn about the products made by the inmates of the Gorriti Penal Unit and the ongoing activities at the Chalicán Penitentiary, currently in the process of transfer.

The Governor of the province, Carlos Sadir, was also present at the opening of the exhibition. “This annual exhibition is a fascinating window into the daily activities of inmates and prison staff. It is essential that the community understands and values the work that is done here,” said Sadir.
The exhibition not only showcases the talent and efforts of inmates, but is also a platform to inspire young students interested in pursuing a career in the correctional field. “Each year, this exhibition demonstrates the daily work and skills developed by the inmates, which are now available for sale to the public. It is an educational opportunity that can awaken vocations in the young people who visit us,” said Minister Corro during the opening.
Subsequently, Starting at 3:30 p.m., the traditional dog exhibition will be held at schools No. 598 “Bandera Nacional de la Libertad Civil” and No. 535 “Prof. Humberto Justo Agüero” in Alto Comedero.. The highlight of the week will be central commemoration event, which will take place on Friday the 14th in Ciudad Cultural.
