The health authorities have declared a yellow alert in the Tolima hospital network, according to the Federico Lleras Hospital.

This announcement aims to ensure the adequate provision of medical services before the start of the folkloric festivities, to be prepared for any emergency that may arise.

“We invite all people who visit Tolima during the vacation and festivities season to be responsible with their health and integrity, and to avoid situations that could take them to an emergency room in any hospital center in the department,” said Martha Palacios, manager. from the Federico Lleras Hospital.

In addition, Palacios indicated that the hospital, being the largest health institution in the department, has implemented an emergency plan.

“The Federico Lleras hospital is the only institution in the region with its own blood bank, designed to care for people hospitalized or in emergencies in our entity. We invite all people over 18 years of age and under 65 to come and donate blood,” Palacios concluded.
