They promote a project for the Córdoba rally to be declared intangible heritage

The Tourism Commission At its meeting today, it addressed a project that declares the Córdoba rally as an integral part of the intangible and intangible cultural heritage of the province, under the terms of Law No. 9729.

At the meeting, Cordoban motorsport leaders were present: Julio César Mungi, president of the Regional Sports Automobile Federation of Córdoba; the president of the Córdoba Civil Association Organizer of the Rally (ACCOR), Gustavo Beccaria; and José Luis Martino, press officer of this association.

Bill 39008/L/24, being processed, belongs to legislators Karina Bruno and Facundo Torres Lima, and also declares provincial interest the promotion, encouragement and facilitation of the development of all cultural, sports, tourism and infrastructure activities related to sports competition.

Beccaria pointed out that it is 40 years since the Córdoba rally and highlighted the importance of legislative recognition: “For Córdoba it is an extremely important industry. Most of the teams are based in the province. The rally is in the DNA of Córdoba.”

As an example of the benefit that the rally represents for regional economies, he recalled that in the last edition of the rally that took place in Cruz del Eje (May 25 and 26) there was an impact for the area of ​​more than 110 million pesos.

For his part, Martino referred to the origins of the Cordoba rally, which had its first test on April 28, 1985 in Alta Gracia; and Julio César Mungi highlighted the importance of the legislative initiative since it “promotes motor sports”.

In its foundations, the authors of the project express that the Córdoba rally is the most deeply rooted car competition among the people of Córdoba. “also highlighting the importance it has both in sports and tourism, being also an important and inexhaustible source of employment”.

In his articles, he also declares to the 28th of April of each year as Cordobés Rally Dayin recognition of the date on which the first genuine competition of the activity valid for the provincial tournament was held in 1985.

Next, the legislators received members of the Association of Tourist Service Providers of San Marcos Sierras who spoke about the different tourism promotion and development actions carried out by that town.

The commission was chaired by legislator Luciana Presas.

General Legislation

On the other hand, the General Legislation Commission met today to discuss three bills that already have favorable reports from another legislative committee.

These are the following files:

  • 38356/L/23: Modification of the municipal radius of the town of La Quinta, Río Primero department.
  • 39271/L/24: Bill declaring, within the province of Córdoba, the town of Chalacea, as a Belgranian Town.
  • 38196/L/23: Modifying the municipal radius of the town of La Palestine, General San Martín department.

These projects were discussed yesterday in the Municipal and Communal Affairs Commission, with the presence of communal presidents of the localities that will modify their municipal ejido.

After reviewing the files, the General Legislation legislators issued the three corresponding dispatches, with the majority support of all blocks.

The meeting was chaired by legislator María Victoria Busso.
