The Provincial Government finalizes details for the “Eternos Laureles” event, where the Copa América (2021), La Finalissima (2022) and the Qatar World Cup (2022) will be exhibited, achieved by the Argentine Soccer Team, in an activity which will take place this Saturday, June 15 at the Physical Education Center (CEF) No. 1 of Resistencia.
The Secretary of Strategic Affairs, Marcos Resico, accompanied by the president of the Chaco Sports Institute, Fabio Vázquez; The head of IPRODICH, Ana Mitoire and Virginia Zacarías, from the Strategic Affairs team, assured that “it will be an extremely important and unique event for the people of Chaco,” highlighting the “great organization and logistics” compared to the large gathering expected by the organizers.
Along these lines, Resico highlighted the joint work of the State entities “trying to make this a party, organized in the best possible way, because we understand that for the people of Chaco and all Argentines, it is important to have a photo with the World Cup”. Finally, with safety and order as a priority, he stressed the importance of arriving early to wait for your turn.
About “Eternal Laurels”
Based on joint work between the Provincial Government and the Federal Council of the Argentine Football Association (AFA), the province will have the exhibition of these awards achieved by the National Team, within the framework of the prior to the debut of the National team in the Copa América 2024 to be held in the United States.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. and will last until 7 p.m., and to be able to see these drinks, access will be organized through a line and in order of arrival. Through coordination with the Ministry of Health, there will be two health posts, ambulances, and IPRODICH will be in charge of organizing preferential access for people with disabilities. The president of the Chaco Sports Institute, Fabio Vázquez expressed his excitement at being able to participate in this event, where “for the first and only time in Chaco there will be the cups won by our National Team and all three will be here thanks to the efforts that made by the Provincial Government, with the support of Governor Zdero to make it a reality,” he said.
Vázquez highlighted the great expectations with which the realization of this event is expected “it is a great challenge and it will be a party for everyone,” he said and added that “on the eve of the Copa América, this event falls perfectly, so with all the more reason “We will double our efforts to make this a beautiful day for all Chacoans,” he concluded.
The head of IPRODICH, Ana María Mitoire, was enthusiastic about participating in the provincial government’s call and complying with the governor’s request to accompany this activity “to guarantee accessibility, and make it an event where everyone can enjoy.” Ella Mitoire assured that a large turnout is predicted, but people with disabilities will have preferential entry, and the need to incorporate ramps was evaluated. “This synergy in the Government will allow it to be an event that we all enjoy,” she concluded.
