Camagüey, June 13.- The province of Camagüey is distinguished for hosting young people willing to assume administrative functions for the benefit of the people of Camagüey and Cuban society as a whole.

A clear example is Claudia María Arzuaga Roquero, a 27-year-old from Camagüey, a Law graduate and current director of the province’s Specialized Law Firm.

“I have been managing the Specialized Firm for a year and three months and, before that, I worked as a lawyer in Firm number two. This has been a significant change for me, since this role demands great responsibility and I did not have previous management experience,” stated Arzuaga Roquero.

It is notable how the new generations face the current challenges of society, demonstrating their competence and preparation to carry out activities that promote national development.

Furthermore, it is relevant to point out that Cuban women have made notable progress in the field of management. Previously, only men could study law, but today, the Cuban judicial system has a significant number of women in its ranks. In the region, the director of the Organization is a woman and most of the law firms are led by them, she stated.

Without a doubt, Cuban youth and women play a leading role in all processes of social change and development, contributing to the creation of more equitable societies, the strengthening of sustainable economies, the improvement of the quality of life of communities and to the achievement of common objectives of sustainability, development and human rights.
