The congestion rate of the courts in the province of Córdoba is 3.01%, according to the data released by the Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia, Ceuta and Melilla, relating to the first quarter of 2024. Although the The jurisdictional bodies of the province are saturated, their rate has decreased compared to this same period in 2023. Furthermore, it is the only province in Andalusia where this rate has decreased.

The congestion rate refers to the percentage resulting from the sum of the pending matters at the beginning of the period and those registered from January to March among the matters resolved during those three months. Although Córdoba has been the only province in Andalusia that has recorded a decrease in this rate (-1.1%), it is not the one that enjoys the lowest figure. Thus, from highest to lowest, the congestion rates in the first quarter have been the following: Huelva (3.9%), Cádiz (3.54%), Seville (3.48%), Almería (3.34% ), Córdoba (3.01%), Málaga (2.9%), Jaén (2.78%) and Granada (2.74%). In the case of the Autonomous Communities of Ceuta and Melilla, both have reduced their congestion rates: in the case of the first, the decrease has been 8.5%, reaching 2.22%. In Melilla, this rate stands at 3.27% after a drop of 19.9%.
