He National Metereological Service issued a yellow alert for strong Zonda wind for a large number of provinces, with intensities between 40 and 70 km/h and gusts that can reach 90km/h.
Provinces with orange alert due to strong winds:
- Catamarca
- The Rioja
- San Juan
The area will be affected by winds from the western sector with speeds between 60 and 80 km/hand gusts that can exceed 120km/h, and can be surpassed from time to time, especially in high areas. This phenomenon can cause a significant reduction in visibility.

In the east of the province of La Rioja, San Juan, north of San Luis and west of Córdoba, winds are expected from the west sector with speeds between 30 and 50 km/hwith gusts that can reach 70km/h.
