With the purpose of promoting tourism in Nariño and generating social and economic development, the Administrative Directorate of Tourism, through the organization Create Experiences, carried out the workshop “Strengthening of Apprentices and Professional Guides.”
The training and training day was aimed at 80 tour operators, travel agencies, professional guides and apprentices, ambassadors of Nariño culture.
The training carried out on June 11 and 12 had the objective of articulating the entire Nariño tourism sector and strengthening the work teams that make up this regional tourism fabric, which in turn allows the Nariño region to be presented as a first-class destination. national and international level.
Within the framework of the Development Plan “Nariño Region Country for the World”, tourism is recognized as the wealth and diversity of the territory and a strategic opportunity to promote tourism activity as an engine of development and reconciliation of the region. In an effort to transform economic and territorial dynamics, Nariño embarks on a great challenge to redefine its role on the national and international scene. Tourism emerges as a key path to replace illicit economies and build territorial peace, guided by an environmentally sustainable future.
