During the months of May and June, the last stage of the most numerous Public Competitions in the history of the organization was carried out. They are intended to cover 38 positions of assistant prosecutors and one position of Criminal Cassation defender, distributed in 14 locations throughout the province.
The conferences took place on May 15, 16, 17, 29, 30 and 31, and June 6 and 7 of this year, at the headquarters of the Association of the Judiciary and the Judicial Function of Entre Ríos.
The Judicial Council of Entre Ríos (CMER) carried out public interviews for contests 232 to 245, in order to fill positions of assistant prosecutors, distributed in Paraná, Diamante, Feliciano, La Paz, Concordia, Chajarí, Concepción del Uruguay, Colón, Rosario del Tala, Villaguay, Gualeguay, Gualeguaychú, Villa Paranacito and San Salvador.
The interviews were evaluated by the CMER plenary session, with 11 members. 87 applicants with the highest scores obtained until then were interviewed, out of a total of 206 registered.
Likewise, last Friday, June 7, the public interviews for competition No. 260 were held, intended to fill a position of Criminal Cassation defender in the city of Concordia. On that occasion, the three applicants with the highest scores were interviewed, out of a total of seven registered.
In this framework, with a great effort on the part of the authorities of the Council of the Judiciary, since the work days required around 12 hours a day, 15 public competitions were finalized. The respective binding shortlists will be made available to the Governor, who will be able to choose among the best, thereby regularizing the transitory nature of those who currently occupy the competitive positions.
