On the eve of the celebration of Independence Day, the date on which Tucumán traditionally becomes the capital of the Nation, the governor Osvaldo Jaldo He announced this Thursday that the necessary preparations are already being made to receive the authorities.

“On July 9, Tucumán is the capital of the country. And we always have the presence of the president,” said Jaldo and mentioned the possibility of a pact being signed between governors and the national government.

“Today the national government has been talking about the signing of a fiscal pact, previously called the May Pact and that for different reasons could not advance,” he said and, in that sense, he remarked: “We want to make our position clear, that if the The national government and the president, Javier Milei, decide that this pact be in Tucumán, we make the province available to receive all those who decide to sign the agreement,” declared the President.

And he confirmed: “This is not our decision. Presidency and the national government have to decide when and where the pact would be signed. And, from now on, we make ourselves available to welcome you with open arms,” he concluded.
