Representatives of the Single Union of Surveillance and Commercial, Industrial Security and Private Investigators of Córdoba (SUVICO) and security guards held a noisy protest at the Nuevocentro Shopping, complaining about the lack of compliance with the agreement that the Prosegur company has with the workers.
Enrique Álvarez, Union Secretary of the Interior, indicated to Channel 10 who have had several hearings at the Ministry of Labor and despite this, they continue to fail to comply with the commitments made.
“We spoke with the people at the shopping center on several occasions, we explained what the situation is like and we have no choice but to come – we apologize – to come and cut it off because we have no choice,” said the leader.
Álvarez maintained that they are giving discounts that do not correspond to the security guards’ pay stubs. “We have raised it in the hearings and they have not given a solution, that is why we are here,” he explained.
And he added: “This is the third time we have come and they are not giving us solutions. The next measure we are going to camp in the Nuevocentro,” warned the union member, who explained that in that shopping center there are around 40 guards in these circumstances.
