“IR1 is the immigrant visa for the spouse of a US citizen and IR2 is for children of a US citizen,” he said.

The IR5 is for the parents of the US citizen, the F21 for the spouses of permanent residents and the F22 for the children of permanent residents.

The official promised that at the next meeting he will report on the documents that must be presented in each application.
