Córdoba begins repaving of Provincial Route 6

The work will provide greater road safety to drivers who travel on this route that crosses productive areas of the province.

The governor of Córdoba, Martín Llaryora, signed the contract for the execution of the works, in addition to complementary tasks on other routes in the area, with an investment of more than 4 billion pesos by the Provincial Government.

Currently, work is being done on two simultaneous work fronts, one in Tancacha, in the Tercero Arriba department; and another in Inriville, in the Marcos Juárez department.

The project was laid out in two sections: the segment between Tancacha and Río Tercero, with a length of 12 kilometers, and the section in the Inriville urban crossing, whose extension is 1.8 kilometers.

The rehabilitation tasks include milling the existing asphalt layer, recycling cement, patching and application of a new asphalt layer.

The comprehensive rehabilitation of Provincial Route 6 is relevant due to the current deterioration, both structural and functional, with deformations, potholes and cracks on the surface.

This road supports high loads due to heavy traffic that crosses productive areas of the province, therefore it is important that it offers road safety and comfort to drivers of medium and large vehicles.
