The sector discloses the requirements and channels for settlement of the tax that will be directed to the chambers of commerce.

Tunja June 13, 2024. (UACP). The Treasury Secretariat of Boyacá reminds the business community and individuals that those interested in registering their company or modifying it must register with the chambers of commerce located in the department.

This procedure will generate the collection of the registration tax that applies to the registration of acts, rulings, contracts or documentary legal transactions in which individuals are part or beneficiaries.

Julián Piña, director of Collection and Supervision of the Ministry of Finance, mentioned the exceptions that do not generate this type of tax.

“Our intention is to encourage and make people clear about the registration tax, the generating event and when it is caused. There are some exceptions to these documents, such as commercial registration or its renewal, registration in the National Registry of Proponents, registration and renewal of the National Tourism Registry, trade and accounting books,” the official explained.

Yeny Pérez, coordinator of Tax and Registration of the Ministry of Finance, reports, meanwhile, the requirements and service channels to settle this tax.

“The document subject to registration (minutes or deeds) must be submitted along with the identification of those involved in it. If you are going to create the company until now, you only have to present the citizenship card. In the event that the company is already created, it is necessary to provide the certificate of existence and legal representation of the company,” Pérez mentioned.

This procedure can be carried out at the Boyacá Government window to facilitate the process for companies that wish to register or make a modification at the Tunja Chamber of Commerce, or by email: [email protected]. co to register with the other Chambers of Commerce with jurisdiction in the department, attaching the aforementioned documents.

The Ministry of Finance emphasizes that carrying out these procedures is essential to ensure the legality and formality of business acts.
