The fight was because the protesters had been evicted from Route 22 by federal forces and then entered the territory where the Neuquén police had jurisdiction.

In this context, Teresa, who worked as a worker in a family home, was standing watching what was happening and was hit by a bullet that hit her in the neck. She was a 9 millimeter caliber and despite being assisted she died in Neuquén.

The judicial case that was carried out never had those responsible for the homicide. There were only a few uniformed officers who were convicted of weapons abuse.

The remains of Miguel Rodríguez will be laid to rest in the Copelco room and buried tomorrow at noon in the Cutral Co cemetery.
