Although he says that he cannot affirm or deny the participation of the exchange house, he does assure that everything was very suspicious.

“I’m not sure about the exchange house but, yes, everything was very strange because the transaction took a long time and there were guys outside watching a lot. I’m sure that if they check the security cameras at the exchange house they will identify the person. two guys who had their backs turned and another who was facing them (…) I don’t know to what degree there is complicity and it is up to the authorities to investigate, but there is something to see,” Carlos said.

According to the man’s story, when he arrived at the entrance of his building he had to wait because the vehicle entrance door was closed and he had to announce himself and wait for them to let him through. “When I arrived and got careless, I did notice that a man got off the motorcycle with the revolver and when I turned my head to see where my wife wasanother man had her pointed at her through the window,” the victim said.

Monroy assured that after the events the security workers from the exclusive surrounding residential complexes went out to try to control the situation and that was when the exchange of shots began. “Fortunately, it was just the money and my wife, my son and I who were inside the vehicle. We are fine and it didn’t happen any further.”
