Achieving the necessary agreement with the community for the definition and delimitation of the areas of potential exploitation of mining resources in the municipality is the purpose of an important activity that will be carried out in Paicol.
Officials from the National Mining Agency ANM and the MUNICIPAL Mayor’s Office led by Aníbal Chavarro Chantre, called for a special socialization day scheduled for Wednesday, June 19, in which various aspects related to the topic will be presented.
The purpose of the event, which begins at 9:00 am in the former mayors’ room of the municipal building, is to generate a space for dialogue that leads to the delimitation and declaration of the so-called AEM Mining Strategic Areas.
A broad and active participation of the community is expected, especially community, social and business leaders interested in the mining development of Paicol.
