Negotiations between union representatives of public employees and the departmental government have registered progress at the dialogue tables set up.

In the negotiation sessions, fundamental issues have been addressed and the commission spokespersons claim to have achieved partial consensus on several fronts, which predicts a positive outcome in the talks.

Among the commitments reached so far, the recognition, immunity and union permission, the participation of unions in the institutional redesign process, the commemoration of International Labor Day and the Union Anniversary, as well as the implementation of flexible working hours stand out. , among other measures.

«We have made significant progress in these negotiations thanks to the willingness of both parties to listen to concerns and proposals. “We are confident that we will achieve a comprehensive agreement that satisfies the demands of the workers and allows the departmental government to search for equitable solutions that guarantee the efficient provision of public services and the well-being of employees,” said the Secretary of Education, Diego.
