He State Blood Transfusion Center (CETS), obtained the first national place in blood donation, a recognition granted by the Federal Ministry of Health and that was possible thanks to the people and institutions that altruistically contribute by donating blood, which is then used in surgical procedures and in transfusions for those who require it. .

Within the framework of World Blood Donor Day, The head of the agency, Ymuri Vaca Ávila, highlighted that the CETS, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2024, has been consolidated by its work by carrying out 579 campaigns, 24 thousand altruistic donors who have benefited more than 70 thousand patients and announced that Currently, more than 80 annual campaigns are carried out in companies, hospitals, civil organizations, and educational institutions in support of Potosí families.

In addition to celebrating the culture of social responsibility, he thanked the companies participating in the campaigns: Latíncasa, Valeo, The Home Depot, Ronalgroup, EATON, Oxxo, General Motors, Berry, Grupo Acerero, Phinia, SIIX, NYX México Plastics, FORVIA Faurecia , TBC, El Parador Potosino, Honeywell, Resideo, among others.

Institutions that strengthen the culture of blood donation, their school campuses, such as the Universidad del Valle de México (UVM), the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí (UASLP) Universidad Tangamanga, and donors from public and private hospitals and clinics received recognition.
