The planning of specific actions for the Lerma Valley that enhance the promotion of sports was one of the topics discussed in a meeting that was held between the Undersecretary of Social Sports, Claudia Vazquez and the provincial senator, Gonzalo Caro Dávalos.
“We are advancing with Senator Caro Dávalos in a social and sports integration project that allows us to promote inclusion, equality and empowerment of the community in the Lerma Valley,” said Claudia Vásquez, who added that “sport is a tool of social cohesion and equality, that is why we continue to promote sports practice in boys, girls and young people.”
The legislator announced that “we continue working on planning activities that motivate sports practice and development throughout the region. Sports teach us values and lead us to a healthy life.”
It should be noted that both work teams headed by the coordinator Federico Apaza (Sports Secretariat) and Hugo Coronel (Valle de Lerma) met to coordinate joint activities with the purpose of promoting and developing social sports in the region, with programs that integrate to children, young people and adults that will begin in the Lerma Valley and continue in the rest of the province.
