The Ministry of Government of San Juan reported today that, as of Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 10 amwill be enabled for all students at the initial, primary, secondary, tertiary and university levels (in person) the application page to obtain the school and teacher ticket. This benefit will provide students and teaching staff accredited by the Ministry of Education with the possibility of paying for the ticket for the requested section, with a 50% discount in the case of the teacher and a third in the case of the student.

Likewise, the call will be opened for apply for student transportation scholarships (the State will be responsible for the entire value of the ticket)to which students of the aforementioned levels will be able to access, who meet the requirements which are presented below:

  • *Be a student at the initial, primary, secondary, tertiary and university level with face-to-face modality, without exception
  • *Belong to a public or private educational institution
  • *That the family income does not exceed 3 minimum wages ($702,945, to date), vital and mobile
  • *Have a SUBE card registered in your name

With the registration of the SUBE card in the name of the student or teacher and the validation of the credit, the ticket will be charged automatically when it passes through the SUBE machine in the transport unit, without the need to present the credential to the driver, the which was designed and sold to this day in collective companies. This means that San Juan eliminates the mandatory use of the school and university credential.

It is important to clarify that the Province will grant in both cases the amount of 4 (four) daily tickets per student/teacher from Monday to Friday from 05:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., weekends, national holidays and provincials, and the winter break.
