As the National Livestock Fair in Córdoba nears its end, various activities continue to capture the attention of attendees. Among the most notable events is the Asocebú Milking Contest, which brings together the most outstanding dairy farms in the department. Breeders exhibit their best specimens of bovine breeds specialized in dairy production, such as the Holstein, the Norman, the Dairy Gyr and high-performance crosses.
On the other hand, the Academic Tent continues to provide interesting talks and recognitions. During the academic events, distinctions were awarded to entities that have contributed significantly to the departmental development. In addition, conferences are offered on agricultural investments and the promotion of tourism through the agricultural sector.
In the equine field, the Miguel Villamil Muñoz Fair Coliseum was the scene of the trocha and gallop judging. Among the categories evaluated were mares and horses of different age ranges. The mare Leyenda de la Ilusión won the gold medal in the 60 to 70 month old mare category, impressing the judges with her attributes, energy and galloping mechanics.
Joy will also be present in the streets of Montería during the float parade, organized by the Government of Córdoba. It will be a vibrant and colorful show starting at 2:00 in the afternoon.
To facilitate access to the Fair Coliseum, free transportation routes were available from different points of the city, with an interval of 20 minutes between each departure.
Additionally, in the “Córdoba has it all” pavilion, local groups perform daily starting at 4:00 in the afternoon, creating a festive atmosphere for attendees. Rural producers are also present at the Fair Coliseum, offering the best of the department’s agriculture and crafts.
