The request was sent promptly to Governor Elvia Milena Sanjuán Dávila, to whom They urged that it develop prevention and reaction measures that can counteract security and coexistence problems. that the municipalities of Cesar have been facing due to the interference of criminal organizations.
Likewise, the public ministry asked the Police to develop strategic operational actions that lead to the protection of citizensin coordination with the different institutions and, in this way, deploy what is strictly necessary at the departmental level to guarantee security.
“The control entity in turn urged the commander of the Tenth Brigade, Cesar Augusto Martinez, the director of the department’s Prosecutor’s Office, Gloria Cassiani Niño, and the commander of the Police, Eduardo Chamorro Pinzón, to develop the necessary actions and also provide information in their territories to reduce the feeling of insecurity and unrest throughout the territory,” reads a statement issued this weekend by the control entity.
In this sense, the Attorney General’s Office asked the officials of each agency for a management report on the Extraordinary Security Councils that have been carried out throughout 2024, in order to strengthen the necessary actions that, if so, manage to provide the information required to carry out accompaniment to the tasks that are carried out.
