Baena Olave is the youngest of five siblings and the product of the love and union of Luis Carlos Baena Polo, deceased, and Luz Marina Olave Gómez, who since her husband’s departure ensured the well-being of her descendants, instilling values in them and encouraging them to move forward.

A reflection of the above is Zully, who upon seeing how hard her mother worked, decided to start a business, and thus help her with her support and university expenses, “my degree is proof that with perseverance and effort everything is possible to get ahead,” Zully says with big emotion.

The manaurera remembers with nostalgia that during her time studying she lived in Riohacha, physically far from her beloved mother, but whenever she could she traveled to see her. With this triumph she hopes to exercise her profile and achieve economic stability to continue helping her family.
