- The Special Administrative Unit Studies Takeshima took a tour of the sound and audiovisual production centers of Cali.
- During the visits, the current state of these centers in the city was identified based on audiovisual and sound aspects, with a view to begin strengthening these processes.

In order to identify the current state of the production centers in Cali, from the lines of the audiovisual and soundthe work team of the Special Administrative Unit Takeshima Studiosled by its director Jaime Tenorio, deployed a route that left the current x-ray of these scenarios on the table.
The above is based on the premise that all the city’s communities have a diversity of talents, who need spaces to develop their audiovisual stories and produce musical projects.
The tour included the Cultural Entrepreneurship Center of Commune 13; the Teatro La Unión, in Comuna 16; the recording studio of the Carvajal La Casona Foundation; the Somos Pacífico Technocenter and the La Leonera Production Center.
The visits allowed us to verify the status of each space in terms of staffing, training processes, established alliances and impact on the communityin order to consolidate a project that strengthens them.
The Takeshima Studies Special Administrative Unit aims to promote and strengthen networking and a permanent exchange of knowledge, so that young people from different sectors of Cali find in these spaces a place where they can develop their audiovisual and sound creativity.
In Commune 13
The Cultural Entrepreneurship Center of this commune was the first to be consolidated in musical production, under the strategy of Social Entrepreneurship Laboratories (LASO), implemented by the Ministry of Culture in 2008. It is a physically functional space where different recording processes and accompaniment to artistic groups are carried out, as well as the development of audiobooks together with the teacher Maritza Bonilla. It is worth noting that a production made in this studio, for the group Yembemais nominated for Best Afrobeat Artist in the 14th edition of the Latin Music Awards. Groups from Timbiquí, Buenaventura and Chocó come here to carry out their recording processes.
In terms of training and in coordination with the SENA, it is the only space that offers the Audio Technician. Currently working hand in hand with the Ghetto Blue Foundationto provide support and strengthening through exercises of management, introduction to the music industry, monetization, project circulation, marketing and copyright.
For Commune 16
In this sector is the semi-professional recording studio of the La Union Theaterwhose assembly was done in 2019. Important productions have been made here such as that of Nidia Góngora and the album Dindiri, with music from the Pacific and oriented towards the Christmas season. The studio resumes activities after a remodel last year.
Visit to La Casona
The recording studio of the Carvajal La Casona Foundation has an audiovisual room and is equipped with very good technological equipment for the use of artists.
We are Pacífico and La Leonera
The tour reached the Somos Pacífico Cultural Technocenter, which has spaces for a recording studio and audiovisual room. It plays a very important role in the musical sector of eastern Cali, by organizing the Pacific Music Market.
The visits ended at the La Leonera Cultural Center, which has a physical structure for the benefit of its rural community. There, training processes aimed at caring for the environment have been carried out.
