A 13-year-old minor reported having been rape victim in the commune of Coronel, located in the Biobío region. The events occurred this Saturday when the girl boarded a bus in the Lagunillas sector. In said vehicle, the girl was allegedly abused by two subjects, after which the Sexual Crimes Brigade of the Investigative Police (PDI) is in their footsteps.
According to information collected by T13, everything started when, after a few blocks, An individual got into the vehicle in which the minor was. This subject along with the bus driver, who deviated from the usual route, they would have raped the 13-year-old girl.

After the attack, The victim was taken to the San José de Coronel Hospital with his family to receive medical attention and verify the injuries suffered. Until now, no arrests have been made, but the authorities are using the community’s security cameras to identify those allegedly responsible.
The PDI is in charge of the case
Felicita Jara Sáez, coordinator of the Public Security Directorate of the Municipality of Coronel, indicated that they are collaborating with the authorities in the investigation. “We have made available security camera recordings to help identify and capture the attackers.”Jara commented.
Carabineros began the first investigations and search for the suspects, but later The Public Ministry instructed that the investigation be carried out by the Sexual Crimes Brigade of the Investigative Police (PDI) of Concepción.
