The head of the Secretary of Education of the State Government (SEGE), Juan Carlos Torres Cedillo, in his capacity as President of the Board of Directors of the Polytechnic University of San Luis Potosí (UPSLP), took oath to the rector Esperanza Aguillón Robles , for a period of four years.
On behalf of Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, the state official called on the new rector to improve, strengthen and impact the educational quality of the young students of this school, for which the profile of Esperanza Aguillón will be of great contribution to achieve the objectives once they graduate so that they can join the wide labor field that exists in the State, thanks to the policy of attracting new investments that translates into better jobs.
Aguillón Robles is a Computer Systems Engineer in programming graduated from the San Luis Potosí Technological Institute, she has a master’s degree in computer science and a doctorate in science from the Research and Development Center of the State of Michoacán, she also has extensive work experience in the private sector and teaching, in addition to having been director of the Technological Universities of Tlajomulco and San Luis Potosí, and last year she served as rector of the Technological University of San Luis Potosí.
