From June 29 to July 5, the Revienta Cordeles track in Cienfuegos will host rowing in the sixtieth edition of the School Games (JE), a discipline with tradition and roots in this province.

In addition to the exceptional conditions of the track for rowing regattas due to the cleanliness of its bay and its calm waters, it is added that this territory holds more than half of the national titles of the JE and youth since the debut of rowing in 1978 in the Minerva dam of Villa Clara.

These are aspects in favor of those of this province to be eternal hosts of the national rowing competitions of the school and youth categories.

Lenier León Pérez, rowing commissioner in Cienfuegos, states that the headquarters is ready to begin the rowing regattas, “we are waiting for the representatives of the provinces to arrive who will participate in the schoolboys’ event and the athletes are fine, some who are “They have been affected by the virus that is being transmitted at the moment.
