The repair of the Simón Bolívar bridge on 30th Street, has forced vehicles to use alternative routes to be able to travel from the municipality of Soledad to the city of Barranquilla. However, the Soledad Mayor’s Office denounced today that urban service bus routes would not be using the enabled streets but other sections.
These detours are occurring at 30th Street and 34th Streetwhich has caused damage to the power wiring and puts residents of the area at risksince many exceed the speeds in the residential areas of the El Tucán and El Río sectorswarned the local administration of Soledad.

The director of the Soledad Transit and Transportation InstituteGerson Balza, called for the cars that are traveling through these unauthorized detours and that as mentioned above, they put the integrity of the inhabitants at risk.
“We know that it is an uncomfortable situation not only for transporters and users; but we must comply with the detours and established routes and abide by the instructions of our agents who are on the road regulating vehicular traffic.“said the official.
