Argentina signed an addendum to the contract with Bolivia to import more gas in the winter

The state Energía Argentina (Enarsa) and the Bolivian YPFB signed the ninth addendum to the contract for
ensure the provision of natural gas during the months of August and September. It is key to guaranteeing supply in the north and center of the country.

As detailed in an official statement, this supply will allow these areas to be supplied with up to 4 million cubic meters per day depending on the requirement of internal demand. They explained that the contract is developed «while the North Gasduct Reversal project is completed«.

“HE estimates that the reversal will be in operation on September 15allowing to bring to the northern provinces an additional 5 MMm3/day to the current ones and in a second stage another 4 MMm3/day,” Enarsa stated in the official statement.
