Fight reported at street party in Santiago de Cuba

Violence continues to rage on the communist island, and in the last few hours a strong fight involving several young people was reported during a party on the central Trocha street in Santiago de Cuba.

This was reported by the Cuban journalist Yosmany Mayeta Labrada on his social networks, where he indicated that, in the first instance, two injured boys were registered who were transferred to the Joaquín Castillo Duany military hospital.

“According to what they tell me from the hospital, there is one who is undergoing surgery right now and another who possibly died,” added the independent communicator on his social networks.

In that sense, it emerged that there is a video of the violent fight in Santiago de Cuba, where what happened is observed. Allegedly, one of the injured young men was left lying in the street bleeding.

“You can see a stab wound in his back,” Mayeta added in his report.

At the time of writing this note, the identities of the young people who were injured after this fight, and their current state of health, are unknown. Just as the causes that motivated this street fight on the communist island are not known.

However, what is clear is that violence took over the streets of Cuba, and with each passing day these types of events become more recurrent.

In the last few hours, the murder of a 20-year-old Cuban young man at the hands of a co-worker, who stabbed him in the city of Guantánamo, was also known.
