A fire in an apartment in the 18-story building on Avenida Martí in Santiago de Cuba occurred this Sunday afternoon.

In images shared by the independent journalist Yosmany Mayeta Labradaemergency crews had responded to the scene and apparently had the flames under control.

According to the communicator, The affected apartment is B on the sixth floorof this property located on Paseo de Martí and Avenida de Los Libertadores in Santiago de Cuba.
