”We have a high rate in this southeastern region in issues of prostitution and issues of child sexual abuse, which will be addressed in a strategic alliance between the Department of Social Prosperity, ICBF, Police and the Government of Tolima; and we want Purificación to lead it,” announced Linda Perdomo, secretary of Social Inclusion and Differential Approach of Tolima.
With this strategy, we will seek to raise awareness among citizens about the care and defense of children and adolescents, the routes will be socialized to report possible cases of violence that arise, and technical and professional support will also be provided to the Mayor’s Office staff. Municipal, in order to create social intervention actions that allow us to combat this problem of child abuse and prostitution in the south east of the department.
