The 22-year-old midfielder has only 1 appearance with La Verde, he made his debut in 2023 in Cochabamba against Panama. Likewise, he participated in the Pre-Olympic. He has 58 games played with Bana Roja.
Sebastián Álvarez also played his first game with the La Verde first team facing Mexico in the United States. His performance led Zago to invite him to accompany the National Team on its tour of the tournament. He could play against Ecuador and Colombia, but he was not considered.
